Samara Brown has been in the collision repair industry for 1.5 years, starting as a Customer Service Representative before transitioning into estimating. What drew her to the job was the opportunity to help people during stressful situations. In an industry where customers often arrive panicked after an accident, she finds fulfillment in guiding them through the repair process and giving them peace of mind. With vehicles being one of the biggest investments people make—second only to a home—she understands the importance of making the experience as smooth as possible.
For Samara, estimating is like solving a puzzle—except the pieces are made of metal and sometimes come with a side of customer anxiety. As the only customer-facing estimator at Welland CARSTAR, she juggles a lot, but she thrives on the challenge. Though she originally went to school to become a paralegal, she fell in love with collision repair and never looked back (sorry, law books).
One of the biggest reasons she chose Welland CARSTAR was the environment—it felt welcoming, full of great energy, and had strong female representation at the forefront of operations. Seeing women in key roles helped build her confidence, and the supportive culture ensures that everyone trusts and uplifts one another.
Outside of work, Sam keeps things just as interesting—tap dancing and salsa dancing her way through life. She’s an avid reader, a passionate baker, and enjoys binge-watching both top-tier shows and the kind that make you question your life choices. When you visit Welland CARSTAR, be sure to say hello—she’s a fantastic addition to our team, and we’re thrilled to have her here (and no, she won’t tap dance your estimate, but it’s tempting).
